We receive a considerable number of project submissions from around the world. While this is something we value, it can be difficult to give every submission the attention it deserves.

We receive a large volume of unsolicited project pitches. When researching projects for upcoming stories and publications, our editorial team consults members' submissions first.
This gives relevant projects greater visibility within our editorial research process, while allowing our team to independently select what best suits each feature.
What is included in Direct Editor Access?
Direct Editor Access is exclusive to Premium members.
It provides an opportunity to speak directly with the Softer Volumes Editor about projects, their potential editorial relevance and upcoming opportunities.
These discussions are intended to help us understand your work and identify suitable opportunities. They do not guarantee publication.
How many projects can I submit?
Independent members can submit one project per month.
Professional members can submit two projects per month.
Premium members can submit four projects per month.
Can agencies submit projects on behalf of multiple clients?
Yes. Professional and Premium memberships allow submissions from multiple clients, making them suitable for PR agencies, creative studios and hospitality groups.
Can I update an existing submission?
Yes. Members can provide updated information, imagery or credits for projects already submitted without using an additional monthly submission.
What are editorial call-outs?
Editorial call-outs are occasional invitations for members to share projects related to destinations, subjects or themes we're researching for upcoming features.
Why is there a membership fee?
Our membership programme helps support the ongoing research, curation and production behind Softer Volumes.
Rather than charging members for individual editorial features, we offer an ongoing relationship that provides priority consideration when we're looking for relevant projects to feature.
The fee supports this process, not the purchase of editorial coverage.
How long is the membership commitment?
All memberships have a minimum commitment of six months, billed monthly.
Full renewal and cancellation terms are provided before subscribing.
